Unlock Bootloader In Samsung International Smartphones 2019 Products

How to Unlock Bootloader in Samsung International Smartphones of 2019?

Unlocking and Relocking Bootloader is considered among two important topics in repairing Android devices (smartphones and tablets) in a way that if a device's Bootloader is not unlocked, using custom binary features such as Rooting, writing Stock ROM, Custom Recovery, and even processes such as removing FRP and screen lock, repairing IMEI, fixing serial number and … and all the features offered by Software Boxes will not be possible!!!

Relocking Bootloader is bringing Bootloader back to factory state. What I mean by International devices is those devices which have letters such as F, C, M and some others after the Model Number. For example, SM-N960F is an International Model (because of the letter F at the end). But SM-N9600 is a model designed for China region because there is no letter at the end of the Model Number. It is also known by its 4 digit code. Its unlock method is different than international models of smartphones.

Model Numbers which end with letters below are international, thus you can unlock their Bootloader using the Unlock method for international devices:

F & FD & FN & FZ & M & MD & C & G & H & HM & HV & I & K & S & T & N

Model Numbers that end with letters below indicate that they are unique to specific regions, thus for unlocking their Bootloader you need to use Software Boxes and Dongles:

V & A & P

As I said, Models that end with V, A, or P (for example, SM-G955V) need to be unlocked using Software Boxes & dongles. In this article, I want to show you how to unlock Bootloader in international models of Samsung smartphones which are produced in 2019 and later. Models such as Samsung galaxy A30, A50, A70 and …. Samsung has changed unlocking method of its new products.

Before unlocking Bootloader, I recommend you read this:

•Unlocking Bootloader would result in warranty cancellation.

• Some Samsung international models which were made in 2016 and earlier are factory unlocked, thus they don’t need to be unlocked by users.

• This method is only used for devices made in 2019. If you want to unlock Bootloader of a device which is made in 2018 and earlier, please refer to this article :

How to Unlock Bootloader in Samsung International Smartphones (2016 to 2019 products)

• Unlock Bootloader in 2019 products are permanent. Meaning, once you unlock the Bootloader in these devices, you cannot Relock it!!!

• After unlocking in this way, USER DATA WILL BE WIPED!!! So, before you start unlocking, make sure you get a backup of your personal data and store it in your computer/laptop.

• To unlock devices which are specifically designed for T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon carriers (operators), you need to use Software Boxes such as Octoplus Box or dongles such as EFT Dongle because the present method (the instructions in this article) may not work on them, though it doesn't hurt to try!

• In case you want to unlock Bootloader of a device which has FRP Lock, and the Operating System (OS) boots up and you have access to Settings, you can remove the FRP Lock by unlocking using the instructions in this article. But if the OS does not boot up, first you need to remove its FRP lock (read this article to learn how to remove FRP). Then, unlock Bootloader.

• By unlocking Bootloader in this way (using instructions in this article), the RMM State Lock (if such lock is enabled on your smartphone) will PROBABLY be removed! BUT, if RMM State Lock remains, and the Operating System (OS) boots up, and you have access to Settings, then you need to unlock Bootloader reading this article:

• If password, pin, pattern or finger print lock is enabled, please disable them. Meaning, set lock screen on "No Lock Screen":

Menu → Settings → Lock screen and Security → Screen lock type → Swipe

It's time to start Bootloader unlocking process:

1. Turn On your Android device and go to Settings=> Developer Options

(if you couldn't find developer Options, go to:
Menu → Settings → About Phone → Software Information
And tap on "Build Number" 7 times. Developer Options would appear in Settings.)

2. In Developer Settings, enable OEM Unlock to be able to Unlock Bootloader. (Follow the instructions on the pictures)

3. Tap on OEM Unlock and Enable it.

(Menu → Settings → Developer Options → OEM unlocking → ENABLE)

4. When OEM Unlock is enabled (like picture 10), it means that first part of unlocking Bootloader is done.

(Notice: when enabling OEM Unlock, if the device asks you for a password or pattern, please enter device Lock Screen password/pattern.)

5. Now, turn OFF your Samsung device and press volume Up + volume Down buttons (Notice: if your device is equipped with Bixby virtual assistant, press Bixby button + volume Down button instead of volume Up + Down buttons) and connect your device to computer/laptop using USB cable so that it would enter Download Mode.

Now, while in Download Mode, press volume Up button for longer time (picture 11) until a screen like picture number 12 appears. Then, press volume Up once, in response to "Unlock Bootloader?" question in order for your device's Bootloader to be unlocked.

6. Your device will automatically restart and it will reset to factory state. Just wait a moment until the device boots up.

Notice: as I said before, a warning would appear on the screen after each reboot of your device and it is permanent. You don't need to press any buttons because it will disappear automatically. In simple terms, as far as the device is unlocked, the warning would show. But if you Relock the device, it won't show. So, don't worry!
