Hi,

Can you please help to find out the IC model with "8ACAPK" marking? I don't know if it's 5V or 3V generator IC. That is on CORVO_15_MB 18741-1 MotherBoard. Lapotop model is hp x360 convertible 15-da0001na.

Hi,

Please check the attached photos. Thanks
ok

at first buzzer test from both inductors from gnd . if both inductors connect to gnd or have very low resistance from gnd it means that circuit have problem so inject 3v to that and heating check of all components or part .
if only one of that have low resistance to gnd it means that inductor is 5valw and its ok .
i mean before you search that ic for replace , check all circuit and be sure haven't any problem .

i search it and replay if found it .

Thanks for your advice. I already removed the short that was affected by the burnt IC you see in the photos I uploaded in post #3. The inductor connected to that line was also removed before my first post and measured the side connected to the burnt IC (after removing the IC and in ohm mode). It shows around 70 ohm which should be ok. To make sure there isn't any other dead components in that line, I also injected 3v and found no over current.

That would be grate if you can find the IC schematic and/or a replacement IC for it.

Thanks again
