Technical Support DELL INSPIRON 5402 Backligh

Pls anyone with the Backligh solution for this motherboard. It boot up very well touch works fine but no Backligh

1. Have you tried another screen?
2. Have u connected the computer to HDMI on Tv/monitor? What did u see?
3. Can u see any logo on display?
4. Do you have schematics of the board?
5. Have u checked the connector pins, voltage and diode mode for any issues? Can you post some voltages and measurements for us pls?
6. What voltage do u have on the output coil or Diode for the backlight circuit?

1: I didn't have another screen to try.

2: yes I connected it to a monitor with hdmi and didn't see anything.

3: yes I can see dell logo on startup and when it boot I was able to use the touch screen to enter password.

4: I don't have schematics for the board.

5: yes I have check all connector pins, voltage was 14.3v and I don't find any issues board is clean.

6: am lost, thanks for the help

Hello
Enter the BIOS environment. If there is no problem in the BIOS environment, there is a high probability that the graphics driver or the graphics chipset itself has a problem.
First, make sure of the software by installing the new operating system and the original driver. Then go and reinstall the graphic chip.
