DELL LATITUDE E5540 ITS BOARD NUMBER IS LA-A101P , ITS CHARGE CONTROLLER IC CD3301 IS SHORTED ( SDC_ IN PIN NO 6 IS SHORTED IN THE IC ) AND NOW I CAN'T FIND THE FAULTY IC TO BE REPLACED , MY QUESION IS CAN I BYPASS THE IC OR IS THERE ANY MECHANISM TO OPEN THE LAPTOP WITH OUT THAT IC? PLEASE

I don't think it can be done without IC. In some older devices, it was possible to connect the input MOSFETs, but I didn't test this model and I don't think it is possible.
