Hi,
I have dealt with some motherboards with not having FCCM or PWM lines which activate CPUCore and CPUGT separately. This experience was on MacBook MBs and other brands too. Sometimes both were missing and sometimes just one of them. I replaced the IC which provide that lines with no luck. I cannot think of EN signal from anywere as other parts of the IC and lines are functional. Is it something you come cross or not?
The resent case I am working on is 820-01598.
ICs are:
1. U7100 (ISL95828) for activating FCCM and PWM.
2. U7210 & U7220 (FDMF5808A) for running CPUCore.
(All can be the same on CPUGT line too)
At this point I'm not sure if it's because of bad CPU or activating signal from SMC or BIOS (which I strongly think this is because of bad CPU).
I would be grateful for your opinion.
Regards
