In this video we want to talk about a very common and important problem which is that the adaptor does't charge the battery. As a repairman you might you have faced such a problem where your customer brought a laptop and says the adaptor doesn't charge the battery when the charger is plugged into the laptop. And as charger is plugged out, laptop turns OFF because power can’t be saved in the battery.
The battery charging problem can have many reasons such as: water spilling, battery or charger failure,… and of course the first thing you need to do before changing the battery is to troubleshoot the problem and see if the problem is originated from battery, charger or the components related to charging circuit inside the laptop.
In this video we’ll show you the principles of troubleshooting and solving the problem and lastly repairing the laptops which has such problems (using oscilloscope).
