Technical Support lenovo x240 Fan Replaceme

Hi i have a 4 wire fan bur the connector has 7 wires
1+2 = VCC5B_FAN

3 = Fan On
4+5= Ground
6 Fan Frq
7 = Fan _id
Is there any way i can replace it with a 4 wire fan as there are only 4 wires on the original fan , some how the wieres that lead to the fan reduce to 4

connect red wire to 5v of fan slot and connect black wire to gnd
