i have an issue with power off after 5-10 second, unit was previous water damaged around the lcd connector, its been cleaned up and spotless.

upon powering on this chip attached became very hot so i removed, this didnt make a difference, is the chip critical or is it just for usb?

also where can i source

you must share more information . you must check many voltage . i don't know which voltage is present and which one is absent . so you must check all voltage and signal and share that information .
