Technical Support Make up 4.2 volt regulator

Hi,

i have a china tablet which does not charge the battery even though it works perfectly fine. I changed the charging port.

Now I need to reduce the 5 volts entering the charging port to 4.2 volts in order to charge the battery.

Any idea how?

Use a diode in the path to turn on about 0.7 volts and pass 4.3 volts.
