Unlock Bios Password Alienware 17 R4

Hi team - need a startup/boot password for the above laptop as my (useless) partner cannot remember what he set it to, and Dell are being pricks because we've moved countries, despite proof of purchase. I'm over trying endless attempts of password combinations.

Sorry, I'm missing something.

This contains a .bin file - is that intended to be a replacement BIOS? I can't load a new BIOS as the startup/boot password prevents any booting incl from USB sticks etc.

Or have I misunderstood and it's something else, in which case can you point me in the right direction? I couldn't find anything in the Tutorial Videos etc.

No idea - never done it. I am an IT programmer though, so can probably figure it out.

Could you point me to what you are talking about? I cannot see anything in the Tutorial Videos.
