Technical Support Asus X555L Loses backlight on battery

Hey I have a Asus laptop that loses back light ones AC is unplugged, works fine on AC, but when on battery power machines stays on and u can see the screen with no back light.

Is there a PMIC or battery rails i need to look at?

no bro . i have this problem many time in many laptop brand . all of them led panel have problem . problem is solve with replace led panel . i guess you have same problem , this problem becuase of high voltage circuet of led panel's t-con board not runing with low voltage like battery voltage .
hard way is reparing t-con board .
easy way is replace panel and test it .
