I have an LG Gram 15Z990-A.AAS7U1 laptop with a BIOS password lock. The current hint number displayed is '64D686C5'. I've tried known passwords including 6fca7850, 04f64589, and 7d028de2 without success.

Can anyone help with an unlock code?

Hi, can you please elaborate? I am new to this process. Are you saying that the laptop needs a BIOS bin file rather than an unlock code?

Oh, is that so? That's a bit of a bother. In the meanwhile, I've swapped the SSD, installed Windows via a USB SSD, now the laptop will boot (and reboot) to Windows. However, it will likely never get to have Linux as that would require me to disable SecureBoot and the BIOS is still very much LOCKED.

but did you check carefully ?
it has numbers and upper/lowercase words
