Hello, someone brought me the mentioned laptop that does not boot. All voltages are present except for VCC_GT.

I am not sure if the bios is corrupted or not.

Have you got the U32 and U23 (EC & main bios) available?

It would be good if the bios could be clear of password and ME cleared as well.

Furthermore about the main bios:
a) Is it password free?
b) is it ME cleared?

I do not know if the backup files that i have are good. The laptop was given to me as is.

As i said before all volatges are present but VCC_GT is NOT.

The machine powers on but i have no image, the bios files maybe corrupted. I do not know if there is a bios password since it does not boot.

That is the reason that i initially asked for verified good both main and ec bios files from to you, so as to be sure that my problen is not the bios.

Finally if i am not mistaken, main bios must be ME cleared first, otherwise even if its good the machine might not boot due to bios/PCH differences.

I will send you both backup files tommorow anyway.

sorry for not sending you the files yesterday.

The weather got really bad the past days here and we had a heavy snowfall, it was impossible to go to office.

So since i was home i searched and found the files i am sending you. These are not my backup files, but files i found elsewhere.

I tested them today and i can confirm that they are good and the notebook is working now.

So since they are good you can use them too if you want.

It is the main ME cleared bios and the EC bios as well.
