Checking the health of the chipset is not an easy task. Suppose there are no pins on the board that you can check to make sure the chip is safe or not. You should check the performance of the chip in different system situations to see if the chip is working properly.

Yes true.. Many factors involved.... I know if PLT_RST is 3v3v then PCH is good.. Bit was wondering how to check it without having PLT_RST.. Thank you again for your reply Master..
