In this tutorial video, you will learn about common problem between all models of motherboard laptop. It is not about a specific brand of laptop. The problem is that motherboard laptop doesn’t start. There he has checked the process of start and all voltages related to start. The process is, by pressing the start button, which has 3.3V and the voltage controlled by Multi-controller which send signal to south bridge and it return the signal to Multi-controller/ IO. These two are in contact with each other and Bios chip. Bios chip, itself has 3.3V, which are all in contact with each other which included in process of starting the laptop. The voltages checked with Oscilloscope and Amper with power supply. The problem of motherboard was with south bridge balls. And by reball and soldering the south bridge ball, the problem solves. The cause of problem may be the heat sink which crosses over the South Bridge, its heat effects on south bridge balls and melts them and they disconnected when system is cool and doesn’t start but by pressing on the south bridge, the ball gets connected each other and system turns on.
