In this video, we have a Dell n5010 laptop which is completely turned OFF and doesn’t switch ON. After checking everything, we realized that the power IC overheats intensely.
Some repairmen usually change the IC right after they come across such problem. And you know why? Because it overheats!
But for making sure and have an accurate diagnosis, we need to consider some important points so that we could detect the problems accurately. Because overheating IC doesn’t necessarily mean it is failed but other failed components can be the reason for an overheating IC!
