Have you tried with another battery???
Check the battery identification path.
Usually, by inserting the battery, the detect base voltage decreases from 3 volts to 0 volts.
Check the resistors of the data path and battery clock.
Usually, its value is 100 to 300 ohms. Check from the schematic.
