HP pavilion dv6 can be converted graphic to non-graphic. In this series of Hp , the conversion can be done without much effort. Hence , in recent conversion , there is no need of removing graphic chip and this can be done , by disconecting the power to graphic chip and this is sufficient to switch automatically to Intel graphic. If you look up its schematic , both graphic , intel and discrete graphics are active and system can be switch in absent of any of these graphic automatically.
