do you test the hard disk or test with new hard disk ???
do you volt check the hard disk socket ?
do you disassemble laptop at all ????

do you test the hard disk or test with new hard disk ??? --yes i tested hdd is ok with another machine
do you volt check the hard disk socket ? --voltage is 5v at the hdd socket
do you disassemble laptop at all ???? -- i disassembled latop completely

Have u checked for shorts on the motherboard?
Do you have schematics and board view for the laptop?
