Technical Summary
The Quanta PIKE project is an Intel Cresent Bay ULT platform motherboard built around a Broadwell U processor in a BGA1168 package, operating at 15 watts. The system memory consists of two 16Gb x32 LPDDR3L chips running at 1600MHz and 1.2V. Embedded controller functions are handled by an ITE 8987 in a BGA128 package, while audio is managed by a Realtek ALC3242 codec in an MQFN package. Power regulation is distributed across multiple ICs including the PS8201A and PS8330B in QFN-40 packages, and a TP2546 in a QFN-16 3x3 package. The board integrates an RTS5237 card reader, an RIT8350 sensor hub, an HP3DC2TR G-sensor, and an HP9DS0TR accelerometer/compass/gyroscope. A headphone amplifier (HPA0022642) and a TPM module (SLB9665 V2.0) are also present. The PCB uses a 10-layer stack-up design.
