Lenov v310 laptop , it is dead and the 3v always voltage output is reading 5v and the 3V LDO output is reading also 5v, but the 5v always is normal , can this abnormal out put of LDO due to faulty IC ?

Any idea please , what could be the reason that the 3v LDO becomes 5v and the 3v always voltage becomes 5v, I changed the IC didn't help

what did you do ???
do you reprogram bios ???
what you means 3v ldo become 5v ??
tacke pic and write voltage on it that you cheak it .

-I did program the bios
- I change the 5v 3v regulator IC
-I mean the LDO should have been 3v but it is reading 5v

Have u looked this up on the schematic? seems odd you have 5v on a 3v_Ldo

do you sure that ic is RT7290AGQUF ????? if you sure remove pl3002 and voltcheck .
and volt check +3v_s2

where is 3v-ldo that you check it ???? voltcheck pr329 and reply . i guess 5vs5 short on 3vs5 . did you remove pl3002 ??? what is 0v ??? plz explain completely if you want i help you .

1.There is an LDO output from IC PU3002 ,or at pin number 6 or at capacitor PC3045 , that should have be 3v but what I am getting is 5V
2.As you said ,when I remove PL3002 and connect adapter there is no out put at the output of IC PU3002 it is 0V but the LDO is still 5V
3.Beyond the abnormal reading of the board ,when I press the button it starts and the fan spinning for a while ( for a second or two) then off, during this time all voltages except VCORE voltage give a reading for a moment then off
4. In off condition only 1.0v (1V-SRC) at PL6 reading 1V
Am I clear sir ?

tnx for perfect explain sir . ok . plz remove pr329 and volt check both side of this resistor . if output of 3v ldo from ic is 5v : ic have problem , if not : one component have problem and 5vsb connected to 3v ldo voltage . check it and reply.

Unfortunately the resistor is obsoleted but I check removing the 5v regulator IC , but it is the same
Any way I am not lucky the cpu has failed during I check the VCORE IC , now it has completely failed , thank you for trying to help me sir
