I have a question about:
  • disassembling DC adaptor: I used gasoline to melt a glue in plastic. But gasoline is so brutal strong that gasoline destroy also plastic. Is there any other mixture or something that is also strong to melt a glue buit not so "hard" for plastic box?
  • what about when repairing is done. Which glue you use? Which technik you use to assemble the plastic box?

Thank you for any info.

Hello
I also use gasoline and it can be done with thinner, but you have to wait more time for the glue to separate.
If gasoline is injected into the adapter seam with a syringe, it will open more cleanly, and the excess gasoline must be removed from the frame immediately and wait for about 2 minutes and do not use force to open the frame.

For gluing, you can use any kind of glue. Touch B7000 or B8000 glue, or drop glue available in the market.
