I have a above laptop, the customer bought in the machine that was still powered from battery and quite warm. it didnt display at the time either.

Now i removed battery to cut power and cool down.

Now i have reseated and replaced ram, checked USB short circuit.

When i power the machine i get fan spin for 5 seconds then power off.

no backlight from lcd, so i believe it is not a bios issue?

I get ram error beeps when no ram is connected, it will stay on longer in this instance, but i would then need to d/c power to restart again

Unit powers off after fan spin, does not restart.

Cpu gets a little warm,I BGA bottom flowed CPU to see if that helps with rewelding, i still have same issue..

I think the CPU is dead?

Any ideas?
