Thank you so much, but the BIOS EEPROM is a GB25B127D and only has 16MB capacity? The two files you've so kindly provided are 32MB, I doubt I'll be able to use them, or am I misunderstanding something?

This was as far as I was able to go extracting files out of the Lenovo bios download. desktops and all in ones :: thinkcentre m series desktops :: thinkcentre m90a gen 3 - Lenovo Support US

I don't have a backup to work from, the original owner was trying to add a custom boot image and wiped the EEPROM. If I had a backup I'd be able to locate the header etc.
