If you have an image but no backlight, the issue may be caused by the following:

1. The LCD backlight circuit may be damaged and require replacement. This is a difficult repair, so replacing the entire display is recommended.
2. The LCD flex cable may be faulty.
3. Check the condition of the LVDS connector.
4. Less likely: the motherboard section responsible for supplying backlight voltage to the LCD may be faulty.
