Technical Support A-1466

[Tara Laptops]

I received one A-1466 for repair .
M/B p/n 820-00165-A
bios was missing and i/o in bad state.
replaced i/o and bios emc 2925 flashed and fixed it. . Then repaired the board. Now display is fine but the bar below apple logo stops after 50%. I tried 3to 4 bios bin files. same issue. Pls show me proper procedure.

disconnect any component from motherboard and test (hdd dvd wifi keyboard .....)

i have connected only screen to motherboard and ssd.

without ssd whats happening ?? did you test with another ssd ??

1. Check for corrossion around J6100
2. Check the caps connecting to J3700 (if anyone is shorted)
3. try another SSD
