I am not an expert in Apple product. I have two Macbook Air that function correctly if I disconnect the battery.

If I connect the battery, the notebook boot but: gives me a kernel panic error or artefact on screen or in some rare case I can login in the account and the battery is recognized and charged but afther 30 minutes the notebook freeze. When freeze and I try to restart the notebook it do not power on or emitt tree beep, I remove the battery and power on.
I have reset the NVRAM and SMC.
Can you help me?
The problem is the battery or smc chip?

Battery failure is more likely. Be sure to test with a reliable battery first.
