Before doing anything, make sure that the adapter and its cable are healthy.
Test and replace parts such as RAM and hard drive that can be easily tested.
Take the voltage from the motherboard and check what voltages enter the motherboard. What voltages are produced after the switch and which voltages are not produced.
If the voltages are normal, program the BIOS.
