Question? SMC Crystal on Macbook A1542 is it 12 mhz or 32.768 mhz..? before RSM_RST and powerbutton, crystal needs to be activated. Which frequency is correct as first step? I know PCH need 32.768khz. What about SMC? Thank you...

The issue is I have now. The SMC crystal does not oscillate correctly now? Should I suspect a bad SMC... ?

12 mhz . It is to supply the frequency required for the USB interface in the smc
