I have a problem.. I mistakenly mispositioned the bios chip after programming. After soldering it back to normal position, laptop power button blinks. I checked the voltage it comes on and off.. help me out please.
They are two same laptop with password, one is working perfectly with same file I downloaded on this site.. bad one has MX25U6435F chip while the working one has GD25LQ64C chip..
The correct voltages for BIOS and correct boot order:
start with:
Pin 8 = VCC 3.3v
Pin 1 = CS (chip enable) 3.3v
Pin 6 = CLK (check this pin with DSO, on while connecting dc jack, you should see a waveform) at 10 ms.
Pin 7 = RST (reset) check also with DSO should see a wave form.
Pin 5 = DI (Data input) its from the cpu
Pin 2 = DO (Data output to CPU)
Pin 3(WP write protect) & 4(GND) and not important pins!!
Ok, so u need to fix that issue, should be 3.3v... No 1.8v..! Traceback on that voltage line/s that fluctuates... which pin fluctuates?
try to give us back as much feedback as you can on what's wrong/what you done etc... every lead counts for us to be able to help you better

The bios ic itself is 1.8v type not 3.3v..i have a working same laptop I checked the pins it's 1.8v. The bios chip MX25U6435F datasheet said it's 1.8v bios chip. Thanks

Ok, so which pin is 1.8v..? try posting more details, what is what.. which fluctuates etc.. try to reply to all the questions we ask.. did u check the other pins I asked? u didn't answer them as well..

Ok so need to fix the fluctuates voltages.. Have u checked the standby circuit..? post some voltages, still waiting for more details from you. U need to try harder then what u do now..
