Hello, customer says he opened and cleaned the dust from the machine as usual. And after mounting all usb ports aren't working. He installed drivers, nothing.
Below are images of the port and it's usb controller chip.
All are 3.0 ports, I diagnosed and all have 5.1v entering them on the 1st pin.
Plugged a keyboard & 3v becomes present on D- pin as it's supposed to.
Tried a 3.0 external HD connector and 3v also becomes present in D+ pin when plugged. The power light on the HD connector comes on but data light no.
i.e to say all voltages are normal but there are no signals sent.
So i'm wondering whether the issue is from the usb controller or from the Cpu side?
