Hello,
I am troubleshooting a Dell Latitude E6430 mother board LA-7781P Rev1.0 . The board is reading 2V and 0.81A so I did some troubleshooting and I disconnected the board at Inductor PL1300 and then I realized the SDC_IN is shorted to GND. So I have removed PU900 IC and checked the actually pins on the board number and PIN number 6 on the board is still shorted to GND even without IC. What does that mean?

you must have shorted on chager_src voltage . check that

I checked chager_src and its not shorted. I disconnected the circuit at PL1300 and I can confirm that SDC_IN is the one shorted. What else could be the issue?
