There are many videos on Youtube.. U haven't checked? Why do u think CPU is the problem always? Ive had my computer shop 4 years and 1-2 had CPU issues of thousands of repairs. I don't understand why people always blame the CPU first. And what heat do you use for reballing and how long do you reball 5min, 10 min? And why do u think it's the CPU, how did u come to that conclusion?

I have tried in airbook A1466 atleast 3 times. My machine is ZM-R5860N. Normally in pch we heat it upto 240 degree celcius. Same we do for cpu. The result is cpu bend on both sides. It moves upward on both sides. I use normal leaded balls. Atleast 7to 8 motherboard work is pending.

Ok..

I ask this. Why do you think it's the CPU? How did u come to that conclusion? Please describe? What's the reason u want to reball CPU.. ? To me it sounds like you're guessing instead of doing proper troubleshooting.

That doesn't mean it's the CPU... You going to fast in the troubleshooting process.. That's a common beginner mistake.. Slow down and do proper troubleshooting and research.. have youI tried to put some rosin core or alcohol on some other components, do you have a Heatcamera..

Its not the CPU. slow down and troubleshoot the short first.

1. U can desolder the Coils to the CPU and also other coils. and then take diode mode on each side of the coil. That way u will know if the issue is on CPU side or other places. Its better you do this way, then start reballing and creating more problem that don't exist.

The best way is to use heat camera, inject 1v, and 5 amp on DC supply.... and feel around on the board for other HOT components. you can disconnect the coils to the CPU.. Its better you try small adjustments step by step slowly

Nice piece of advice there

I was always sketchy of injecting voltage on lower rails

Never thought to just remove cpu coils lol ffs

yes your top side is way too hot then,

On my honton 3 teir air system i used 300/320c bottom air nozzle and maybe 190/210c MAX TOP HEATER

pre heater is 280 however the boards are quite high from the pre heater, so i would advise going that high
